Russia Receives Invitation for G20 Summit in U.S.
"There is an invitation to participate at the highest level," Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin told reporters, as cited by a news agency.
Pankin noted, however, that Moscow has yet to determine who will head its delegation, indicating that a decision on representation would be made as the date draws closer.
The G20 is the premier annual forum bringing together leaders from the world's major developed and developing economies to collectively address the most critical global challenges of the moment.
