Russia Firecracker Plant Fire Kills 14, Emergency Declared
The Emergency Situations Ministry said on the Russian social media platform Max that the blaze has been fully extinguished and that personnel are still clearing debris from the site.
Separately, regional Gov. Mikhail Yevrayev said on Telegram that a state of emergency has been declared in the Pereslavl-Zalessky District following the fire.
Earlier, the ministry said more than 100 personnel and 40 pieces of equipment had been deployed to bring the fire under control.
